INscribe Digital Inks New Distribution Deals with Regional and Specialty Publishers
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) With nearly 15,000 titles distributed by INscribe Digital in the two years since it came on the scene, the San Francisco-based eBook distributor is continually adding new publishing partners to its growing roster. One area in which INscribe Digital has excelled is with regional and specialty publishers, and today, INscribe Digital Executive Vice President/General Manager Anne Kubek announced a number of new deals, which leverage the company’s expertise in these areas.
The latest additions to the INscribe Digital fold include new distribution deals with History Publishing Company, LLC, a publisher of titles on American history, the test preparation publisher Ace Academics, Inc., and Life Changing Books, which publishes a variety of fiction titles directed at African American readers. The company has also inked a distribution deal with the University of Massachusetts Press.
In addition, INscribe Digital has signed new agreements with the regional publishing house Islandport Press, a publisher of titles about Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and Mill Hill Press, which is based in Nantucket.
“The variety and complexity of the eBooks we have distributed over these past two years have made INscribe Digital uniquely suited for specialty and regional publishers, many of whom are able to take advantage of all the functionality and special features which the digital format can provide,” commented Ms. Kubek. “We are keenly focused on these groups as we continue to grow our client base.”
INscribe Digital is not new to the specialty eBook arena. The company has already distinguished itself as a key distributor for the theater community, distributing books for such specialty publishers as Samuel French, Inc., L.A. Theatre Works and Oberon Books Ltd.
