Inscribe Digital Announces New Distribution Deals With Leading Publishing Houses And Literary Agencies
New Deals Represent Nearly 6,000 New Titles in Total.
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) INscribe Digital Executive Vice President/General Manager Anne Kubek announced today a new slate of distribution deals inked by the company. So far this year, the company has signed dozens of deals with such important publishing houses as Harvest House Publishers, Wayne State University Press and M-Y Books, the exclusive publisher for the estate of Barbara Cartland, considered the most prolific author of the 20th century. In addition, INscribe Digital has formed pacts with Folio Literary Management and The Laura Dail Literary Agency, adding to a growing list of literary agencies working directly with the company. Altogether these new signings and others represent nearly 6,000 titles.
“We have seen our roster of publishers and literary agencies grow rapidly in the first quarter of this year and expect to continue to aggressively sign new business throughout the year,” said Ms. Kubek.
Another important publisher signed to INscribe Digital for distribution is Mercury Ink, the publishing arm of the company founded by radio talk show titan and author, Glenn Beck. The first title under the new deal, “Wrath and Righteousness,” is part of an innovative 10 book series being released over the course of a year, just like a television show.
In addition, INscribe Digital has signed Publishing Consultants, which is Alaska’s biggest publisher, as well as Oberon Books, a publisher of plays and books on theatre and theatre practice. The Oberon Books deal represents continued expansion of a strong theatrical niche for INscribe Digital, which announced distribution deals with L.A. Theatre Works and Samuel French, Inc. late last year. Both houses are leading publishers of plays and are already benefitting from the flexibility of the marketing muscle INscribe Digital provides. For example, in a special promotion, all L.A. Theatre Works plays are available at the retail price of 99 cents until May 22.
INscribe Digital is a digital publishing services provider of global eBook distribution, content conversion and marketing services to the publishing community. Earlier this year, the company announced a number of major upgrades to the user interface and console of its highly adaptable, best-in-class, ONE Digital media distribution platform.
